2.1 File Conversion Services (ZippyFile.org)

File Conversions: Convert between 18+ major file formats including images, documents, audio, and archives. Supported formats may include JPEG, PNG, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, MP3, WAV, ZIP, and more.
Image Editing: Basic image manipulation tools such as cropping, filters, and format conversion.
PDF Editing: Tools for viewing, merging, and modifying PDF files.
Educational Content: Blog articles and tutorials related to file formats, compression, and optimization techniques.

2.2 ZippyDrive File Sharing Service (drive.zippyfile.org)

ZippyDrive Service Features:

File Upload & Sharing: Upload files up to 2GB in size and receive shareable links for distribution.
Temporary Storage: Files are stored securely on Cloudflare's KV (Key-Value) storage infrastructure for exactly 48 hours.
Anonymous Sharing: No account registration required. Files are shared through unique, randomly generated links.
Automatic Deletion: All files are automatically and permanently deleted after 48 hours from upload time.
Download Tracking: Basic download statistics are provided for each shared link.
Multiple File Support: Upload and share multiple files simultaneously through a single share link.

File Conversion Processing Methods:

Client-Side Processing: Most file conversions are handled locally in your web browser using modern WebAssembly or JavaScript technology. These files are not uploaded to our servers.
Backend Processing (In Development): Some advanced file operations may be processed via our backend servers in the future. When enabled, files will be processed immediately and never stored.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 General Acceptable Use

You agree not to use any of our Services to:

Engage in unlawful activity or encourage others to do so
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe intellectual property rights
Harass, harm, or discriminate against others
Submit false or misleading information
Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or malware
Engage in data scraping, crawling, or spamming
Process copyrighted content without authorization
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

3.2 ZippyDrive-Specific Responsibilities

Prohibited Content for File Sharing:

Illegal content including child exploitation material
Copyrighted material you do not own or have permission to share
Personal information of others without consent
Malware, viruses, or other harmful software
Content that violates privacy rights
Threatening or harassing material
Spam, phishing, or fraudulent content
Weapons, explosives, or dangerous material information
Adult content involving minors

3.3 Content Responsibility and Security

File Ownership: You must own or have permission to share all uploaded files
Link Security: You are responsible for controlling access to your shareable links
Backup Responsibility: Maintain your own backups - we automatically delete files after 48 hours
Encryption Recommendation: For sensitive files, encrypt them before upload using your own encryption tools
Legal Compliance: Ensure all shared content complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction

Security Best Practices:

While ZippyDrive implements security measures, we strongly recommend encrypting sensitive files before upload. This ensures that even if unauthorized access occurs, your file contents remain protected.

3.4 System Requirements

Use a modern browser that supports current web standards
Ensure your device has sufficient resources for file processing
Maintain a stable internet connection for uploads
Respect file size limits (2GB maximum per file for ZippyDrive)

4. Service Limitations

4.1 ZippyDrive File Sharing Limits

File Size: Maximum 2GB per individual file
Storage Duration: Files are automatically deleted after exactly 48 hours
No File Recovery: Once deleted, files cannot be recovered
Link Expiration: Share links become invalid when files are deleted
No Manual Deletion: Users cannot manually delete files before the 48-hour expiration
Bandwidth Limits: Download speeds may be limited during peak usage

4.2 File Conversion Limits

Recommended maximum file size: 500MB for client-side processing
Larger files may fail depending on your browser's memory limits
File support depends on format integrity and browser capabilities

4.3 Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access
Maintenance or updates may result in temporary unavailability
Performance may vary depending on your system and connection
File uploads may fail during system maintenance

5. Content Monitoring and Enforcement

Automated Scanning: We may use automated tools to detect prohibited content
Abuse Reports: Users can report inappropriate content through our abuse contact
Content Removal: We reserve the right to remove files that violate these terms
Access Termination: Repeated violations may result in IP-based access restrictions
Legal Cooperation: We will cooperate with law enforcement when legally required

6. Privacy and Data Protection

No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect names, emails, or create user accounts

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

The Services and their original content, features, and design are the exclusive property of ZippyFile.org and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

7.2 User Content

You retain full ownership of all files you upload or process
By uploading files to ZippyDrive, you grant us the limited right to store and deliver them through shareable links
This license terminates automatically when files are deleted after 48 hours
We do not claim any ongoing rights to your content

7.3 Copyright Compliance

You must not upload copyrighted material without permission
We will respond to valid DMCA takedown requests
Repeat copyright infringers may face service restrictions

8. Disclaimers and Warranties

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT
SECURITY OF UPLOADED FILES OR CONTINUITY OF SERVICE
ACCURACY OF FILE CONVERSIONS OR SUCCESSFUL FILE DELIVERIES

We do not guarantee that:
Files will remain available for the full 48-hour period
Downloads will always be successful
File conversions will always be accurate
The Services will be secure or error-free

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
Our total liability shall not exceed $100 or the amount paid in the last 12 months (whichever is greater)
We are not responsible for data loss, file corruption, privacy breaches, or user error
We are not liable for unauthorized access to shared files
We are not responsible for consequences of sharing inappropriate content
Your reliance on the Services is at your own risk

Certain jurisdictions may not allow these limitations—some parts may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZippyFile.org, its affiliates, licensors, and partners from all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising from:

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time without notice, especially if you breach these Terms
Files uploaded before termination will still be automatically deleted after 48 hours
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately
Provisions regarding liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination
