Your files are not uploaded to our servers during file conversion.

1.2 ZippyDrive File Sharing Service

How ZippyDrive Works:

File Upload: When you use ZippyDrive (drive.zippyfile.org), your files are uploaded to our servers for temporary storage and sharing.
Storage Location: Files are stored securely on Cloudflare's KV (Key-Value) storage infrastructure, which provides enterprise-grade security and global distribution.
Access Control: Files are only accessible through unique, randomly generated shareable links. No one can access your files without the specific link you provide.
Automatic Deletion: All uploaded files are automatically and permanently deleted after 48 hours from upload time.
File Size Limit: Individual files cannot exceed 2GB in size.
No File Content Analysis: We do not scan, analyze, or view the contents of uploaded files.
No User Accounts: ZippyDrive does not require registration or account creation. Files are shared anonymously.

Important Security Recommendation:

For maximum security of sensitive files, we strongly recommend encrypting your files before uploading them to ZippyDrive. While we implement security measures, client-side encryption provides an additional layer of protection that ensures only you and those you share the decryption key with can access the file contents.

1.3 Future Server-Side Processing (File Conversion)

We are developing a backend system to support more complex file conversions. When this system is introduced:

Files will be processed instantly and not stored temporarily or permanently on our servers.
We will not retain any copies or logs of the content you upload for conversion.
No user-identifying data will be linked to the files processed.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 ZippyDrive File Sharing

File Metadata: File names, sizes, upload timestamps, and expiration times.
Share Links: Unique identifiers for accessing shared files.
Technical Data: IP addresses (for security and abuse prevention), browser information, and upload/download timestamps.
Usage Statistics: Number of downloads per shared link (for analytics purposes only).

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Technical Logs: Server access logs containing IP addresses are retained for up to 30 days for security monitoring.

5. Advertising and Third-Party Services

ZippyFile uses Adsterra as its third-party advertising partner. Adsterra may:

Files uploaded to ZippyDrive may be stored on Cloudflare's global network, which includes servers in various countries. Cloudflare complies with international data protection standards and provides appropriate safeguards for data transfers.

9. Your Rights and Choices

File Deletion: All files are automatically deleted after 48 hours. You cannot manually delete files before expiration.
Link Control: You control who has access to your files through the shareable links you distribute.
No Account Data: Since we don't collect personal information or create accounts, there are no account settings to manage.
Cookie Management: You can control advertising cookies through your browser settings.

10. Data We Do Not Collect

ZippyFile does not collect or store any user-uploaded file data during client-side processing.
